Welcome to Faunus Farms & Aussies, located in the heart of the Ozarks in Macomb, Missouri. We are a small, passionate family farm specializing in Miniature Australian Shepherds - beloved for their intelligence, loyalty, and boundless energy.
Our journey began in 2023 when we moved back to Missouri to build a life rooted in purpose, family, and a deep love for animals. We are lifelong dog lovers and always felt a strong connection to the Aussie breed. Their devotion, and eagerness to work alongside us quickly made them not just pets, but partners - and now, we're proud to share that joy with other families through our carefully planned breeding program. At Faunus Farms, our priorities are health, temperament, and structure. We thoughtfully select our breeding dogs based on conformation, bloodlines, markings, and overall vitality. Our puppies are farm raised and raised with children, giving them plenty of socialization and stimulation from day one. We practice Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and begin early training to help ease their transition into their new homes. These early efforts result in confident, well-adjusted puppies ready to thrive as companions.
We thoughtfully select our breeding dogs based on conformation, bloodlines, markings, and overall vitality. All of our dogs are ASDR registered, with some also being dual registered with AKC. We are proud to be a Preferred Breeder on Good Dog, Registered AKC Breeder, and Registered ASDR Breeder. We also complete health testing with Paw Print Genetics and GenSol and continue our education through AKC Canine College courses, including their maternity and General Breeder programs.
What truly sets us apart is our heart: we breed not to produce exceptional dogs, but to connect them with families who will love them as much as we do. We take pride in making sure each puppy finds the right fit - where they can be cherished, challenged and adored.
